PLAGE DES ARGONAUTES - AID STATION (NO. 1)
The Argonautes beach in Le Barcarès is the most northerly beach in the Pyrénées Orientales department. This first-aid post (no. 1) is equipped with a tiralo and a defibrillator.
Meaning of the flags :
Red flag: swimming prohibited
Orange-yellow flag: dangerous but supervised swimming
Green flag: bathing under supervision and no particular danger

PLAGE DES ELMES
Plage des Elmes in Banyuls sur Mer is the second beach from Port-Vendres. This sandy and shingle beach is located just below the D914 and extends for around 100 metres, with a beautiful view of Cap des Elmes to the left.
Supervision from 20 June to 06 September 2026 from 10.30am to 6.30pm. Accessible to PRM during the surveillance period.

PLAGE DES ENFANTS
The Plage de la Jetée is located in the Port de Canet and is ideal for families with children.
To make the sea accessible to all, the beach is equipped with a number 2 first-aid post during the summer months.
The station has been adapted for people with reduced mobility, with a shower, a roll mat and a tiralo for access to the water.
It is also equipped with a defibrillator.
Swimming is supervised from 7 June to 7 September, every day from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
