The municipal multimedia library is one of the four establishments in Perpignan's network of public reading libraries, whose mission is to promote access to the written word, images, sound and information and communication technologies for the widest possible audience.

As part of this network, the media library contributes to cultural leisure, the dissemination of information, research, education and culture for all, while respecting the diversity of tastes and choices of everyone, regardless of generation.
