The municipal media library is one of four institutions within the City of Perpignan’s public library network, whose mission is to promote access for the widest possible audience to written material, images, sound and information and communication technologies.

Within this network, the media library thus contributes to cultural leisure activities, the dissemination of information, research, education and culture for all, whilst respecting the diversity of tastes and choices of every individual, across all generations.

Wi-Fi connection: Computer stations (for internet access, office software and multimedia) are available at the media library.

Sharing the building with the Joseph Puig Numismatic Museum, which houses remarkable collections, the library is spread over two floors: the adult section on the ground floor and the children’s section on the first floor (accessed via a staircase).

The library offers a varied selection of resources for all ages: picture books, novels, comics, e-books on e-readers, dictionaries and encyclopaedias, non-fiction books and more… It is equipped with study and reading tables, furniture suitable for very young children, multimedia stations with internet access, tablets and Wi-Fi for use with personal laptops.
