GRAND STADE LES CAPELLANS

Nestling in the heart of a 4-hectare natural park and just 5 minutes from the beach, Grand Stade Les Capellans is one of the region's most prestigious tennis centres, offering unique top-of-the-range facilities. The quality and quantity of its facilities make tennis easy: 16 outdoor courts, including 8 synthetic turf, 6 resin, 2 artificial clay and 4 indoor resin courts. It also offers 3 squash courts (individual courts available), 3 padel courts, badminton, table tennis, fitness courts, a cardio-training room and a swimming pool (open July/August).
The centre offers equipment hire and, depending on the activity, coaching and courses for adults and children all year round.

Open to all, the complex is a year-round meeting place for sports enthusiasts from Saint-Cyprien, the surrounding area and, of course, holidaymakers.

GRANDES CANALETTES CAVE

The Grotte des Canalettes, at the foot of the Massif du Canigou, near Villefranche-de-Conflent, reveals unique natural wonders. From the striated walls of the Cupules corridor to the immaculate purity of the Salle Blanche, every nook and cranny reveals the age-old work of water. Under the rocky balcony, witness to the ages, and in the Nave with its eccentric concretions, nature shows itself to be both powerful and delicate. The Temple of Angkor impresses with its architecture, while Martel's Tomb recalls the history of speleology. From the top of the Dome to the bottom of the Abyss, the cave reveals the eternal dance of tectonic plates. GROTTE DE FONTRABIOUSE

The Grotte de Fontrabiouse was discovered by accident in 1958, when a marble quarry was exploited. For many years it was a playground for cavers, and today it is a delight for young and old alike, with its richly decorated chambers stretching for almost a kilometre. Travel through time.
