PETIT TRAIN TOURISTIQUE DU VIGNOBLE
Runs every day from April to September. Outside July and August, 1 departure per day at 3.30pm.
Minimum of 12 adults. Duration: 90 minutes, including a visit to the Terre des Templiers winery and wine tasting.
Commentary in French, Spanish, Catalan, English, German, Dutch, Italian and Russian.
Discover Banyuls and its vineyards on board the Little Train.
Leaving from the seafront, next to the Tourist Office, the Petit Train takes you through the village before climbing up to the steep hills where the vineyards cling.
At an altitude of 200 m, the Chapelle de la Salette keeps watch over Banyuls, offering a breathtaking view of the bay and vineyards.
On the return journey, the little train will stop off at the Terres des Templiers winery. You'll discover the secrets of making and ageing the great wines of Banyuls, and the sun-drenched ageing cellar.
To round off the tour, enjoy a tasting of Terres des Templiers wines before returning to the seafront.
