9.45 pm : Sevillana ball with the Giraldillo group, hailing directly from Seville. A chance to dance the Sevillana and enjoy being at the heart of a real street party. In a flash, you'll be transported to Jerez, Cadiz or Seville…
Jesus CARMONA is trained in classical dance and Flamenco. His training under some of the greatest names in Flamenco (Antonio Canales , Eva Yerbabueva, Domingo Ortega, Manuela Caurasco, etc. ) earned him the title of "best dancer" at the demanding "Spanish Dance and Flamenco" competition in Madrid in 2011.
He began his professional career in 2001, at the tender age of 16, with major dance companies such as Carmen Cortes, El Güito and Antonio Canales. Over the next few years, he performed as a solo artist, at the invitation of prestigious national and international dance companies. His first show, "El Silencio de la Luna" in 2006, earned him instant recognition, while the following year saw him named Principal dancer with the "National Ballet of Spain." In 2010 he joined the "Rojas & Rodriguez" Company for a tour of Asia. In 2011, his new work "Cuna Negra y Blanca" placed him firmly at the top of the Flamenco scene.
