A Town of Cannes event - Production by Palais des Festivals et des Congrès
Like every year, summer begins with music… and for this new edition of the World Music Day, its messenger name is “Brooklyn”: it’s an expanded formation of solid musicians passionately involved in Soul and Funk music, which performs in front of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.
Warm voices, rhythmics, brass, riffs, solos, the full panoply is there to make you dance and share in the party. As passionate ambassadors of the musical style they perform, the “Brooklyn’s” members will play the great standards of Soul and Funk: the unforgettable classics of Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Otis Redding, Al Green, James Brown and more of course, but also irresistible cover versions of popular songs of the international and actual Funk stage.
